Can you still climb the Coba ruins?
Yes! The ruins at Coba are still accessible to the public to climb. These ruins are the only archeological site in the area that still allow guests to walk on the artifacts.
How many steps does Coba have?
This Nohoch Mul is the tallest pyramid with 120 steps to the top where you will see the most incredible view! It's worth the climb!
Is there wheelchair access?
It is possible however it is not recommended because the ground is uneven rocky and there are stairs in some areas without wheelchair ramps.
Is there a cost to bring cameras?
Non-professional cameras are permitted at no cost. Video cameras GoPro tablets and selfie sticks have a charge which is paid directly at the box office upon entry. The use of professional photography equipment is strictly prohibited - including tripods.
What if it rains?
We have umbrellas available for sun and/or rain.
